Ponzi, ‘La femme Anjola… Nigerian movies that will hit the screens in March

It’s over a year since the world experienced a pandemic that affected virtually all sectors of the economy.

But things are gradually returning to normal as some movies are lined up for release in March.

From ‘Coming 2 America,’ ‘Ponzi’ to ‘La femme Anjola,’ some Nigerian movies will hit the big screens in a matter of weeks.

Coming 2 America

Filmed in Atlanta, Georgia back in 2019, the sequel premieres March 5, 2021.

The Craig Brewer directed movie, the sequel to the 1988 hit comedy ‘Coming To America’ will follow Prince Akeem’s journey to Queens in search of his heir.

The movie stars Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler,
Wesley Snipes, James Earl Jones, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, Teyana Taylor and Sharo Headley.

Ponzi

The Kayode Kasum directed comedy is set to hit the Cinemas on March 12.

The comedy, inspired by true life events, is written by Toluwani Obayan, produced by Vincent Okonkwo and distributed by Filmone.

It stars Broda Shaggi, Zubby Michael, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Timini Egbuson, Jide Kosoko, Chinyere Winifred, among others.

La femme Anjola

The Mildred Okwo and Rita Dominic produced film is set to hit the screens on March 19.

 

The movies stars Dominic and Nonso Bassey, amongst others.

Under the carpet

The Tope Alake directed romance drama will be Premiering at the IMAX Cinema on the 7th of March 2021.

The drama will start showing in all Cinemas nationwide from the 12th of March, 2021.

 

The drama stars Iyabo Ojo in a lead role Deyemi Okanlawon, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Femi Jacobs, among others.

The Razz guy

The Razz guy, starring Lasisi Elenu, Frank Donga and Broda Shaggi, among others will be hitting the big screens come March 19.

The movie follows the story of an obnoxious executive who struggles to overcome a curse that’s stopping him from speaking eloquently.
