The Academic Board of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has expelled 42 students of the institution for various offences ranging from theft, examination malpractices and result forgery.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mrs Uredo Omale, Friday said that the decision to expel the students followed the due consideration of the various committees and consequent approval by the governing body.

An ND II student of the Department of Business Administration and his accomplice, involved in running an illegal examination syndicate christened “magic centre” in Sarikin Noma, Lokoja, and a student of the Department of Computer Science involved in stealing, were among the students expelled from the school.
