She insisted it wasn’t the incumbent Governor, Abdullahi Sule, who won the election as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

She stated that members of the party would continue their peaceful demonstration until their demands were met.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state has urged members of the PDP to seek redress in the court if they were dissatisfied with the outcome of the governorship election.

The APC’s spokesman, Douglas Otaru, in a statement, warned the PDP against debasing womanhood by dragging themselves naked into the streets to protest against the electoral process.

“It is most unfortunate, despicable, odious and unpatriotic for the opposition PDP to condone acts that are uncivilised in modern society. How can they in modern society debase and cajole women to come out naked in the name of politics?”

Otaru affirmed that the APC in Nasarawa State would continue to refrain from any counter action capable of causing the breakdown of law and order, and called on all well-meaning citizens of the state to eschew hate, avoid violence and maintain love for one another as they went about their normal businesses.
