A policeman, Felix Olayiwola has been dismissed and arraigned in court for allegedly stealing a phone and N25,000 cash from a youth in Osogbo, Osun State.
Olayiwola was said to have stolen the mobile phone valued at N58,000 and was arrested, detained and dismissed after he was found guilty in the orderly room trial at the Police Headquarters in Osogbo.

After his dismissal, Olayiwola was arraigned on Monday at the magistrate court for stealing.
The accused person, however, pleaded not guilty to offence leveled against him and his counsel, Mrs Ope Oladele, sought his bail but the prosecutor opposed the bail, warning that the dismissed policeman would jump bail.
The magistrate, Modupe Awodele, however, granted bail to the accused person in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till November 9.
