Barring any last-minute changes, the embattled Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Oludare Kadiri, will be arraigned Monday over allegation of violent conduct during the membership registration and revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
It was alleged that Kadiri led suspected hoodlums to invade the residence of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Tokunbo Talabi, in Oru-Ijebu, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state, and that of a former state legislator, Hon. Adebiyi Odugbesan for allegedly hoarding registration materials.

He was detained at the Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The police had invited all warring factions from the local government but detained the deputy speaker after hearing from the parties concerned.
A police source told Daily Trust that the deputy speaker, who was in detention for about 48 hours, has been released on self-recognition.
The police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Sunday told our correspondent that the deputy speaker would be arraigned except the complainants opt for settlement.
“It is likely (we arraign him) except those who brought those allegations against him opt to settle out of court,” he said.
