Police take over streets, kids play football

Truckload of armed mobile policemen were seen parading the inner streets of Calabar south local government area, Cross River State where violence and electoral crimes have been common in the past.

Meanwhile, at many polling booths, voters in their hundreds are turning up.

Many young men have turned the empty streets into football field, DailyTrust observed.
