Oyeyemi said police were informed that the suspects had cultivated a large expanse of land for the purpose of planting hemp.
According to him, intelligence further revealed that the suspects were threatening the villagers who did not initially know what they wanted to use the land for, for daring to disturb them while planting was going on.
Oyeyemi said five bags of Indian hemp seeds were recovered, while two bags had already been planted, adding that the suspects would be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
