DSP Ahmad Muhammad, spokesman of the command, told newsmen in Port Harcourt that Wali, the immediate past president of the NBA, was abducted on Saturday.
He said information available to the police, showed that Wali was trailed by his abductors. “As soon as the police got information of the abduction, we quickly swung into action. His vehicle was recovered along Ozuoba water front,’’ he said.
Muhammad said the police were on the trail of the kidnappers, to rescue Wali safely and apprehend the abductors. (NAN)
