The police have rescued three suspected fraudsters from being lynched at the Lokogoma area of Abuja.
In a statement, the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Adeh Josephine, said a mob descended on three suspects after they attempted to defraud a female POS operator at Peace Court Estate.
She gave the names of the suspects as Francis Noah Emeka, What Ikyer and Books Terkula.
According to her, the POS operator raised alarm which attracted youths who descended on the suspects, but that the situation was brought under cpntrol by the police.
