Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have rescued two kidnap victims, Mrs Helen Taiwo Augustine and Mrs Funmilayo Elizabeth, who were abducted by gunmen on December 7, on Ibillo-Auchi road.
The command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwanbuzor, said the women were rescued on December 12, in collaboration with other security agents.

He said, “The victims’ rescue came from the aggressive manhunt and bush combing operations by the police in collaboration with the army, Edo State Security Network and hunters.”
