Briefing journalists on Thursday, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Usman Sule Gomna, said the command recovered seven motor vehicles, 30 cows, 22 sheep and three goats and an unspecified amount of counterfeit currency, including United States Dollars, and various denominations of naira notes.
The police boss blamed the rise in kidnap cases in the state this year on coronavirus pandemic, which kept people indoors.
