The Ogun State Police Command Thursday arrested an herbalist and three others for allegedly defrauding one Imoleayo Ashade of N1.3million.
Police also recovered a box containing various denominations of fake currencies, charms and N1, 310,000 allegedly collected from Ashade by the suspects.

The suspects – Salau Taiwo, Ifakunle Adeyemi, Tajudeen Jimoh and Adebayo Akeem – were arrested at a shrine in the Ijagun area of Ijebu Ode.
The Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, who conducted journalists round the crime scene, yesterday, said the arrest was made by the Awa-Ijebu Police Division with support from OPC and vigilantes on the area.
Ajogun said the suspects will be arraigned before a court.
Ashade said she was lured to the hideout with a spiritual financial assistance assisting the suspects by providing them with an accommodation.
She said they promised to help her with her business only to be defrauded.
Speaking with newsmen, Kunle Adeyemi, the herbalist from Osun State, said he was only contacted by one Olaiya (on the run) to consult the oracle for the lady allegedly in search of money rituals.
Addressing journalists at the crime scene, the Special Adviser to the state government on security, retired AIG Olusola Subar said: “We have laws of which these people have violated and they are going to be dealt with according to the law.
“I will still take the report back to the governor and a decision will be taken concerning this hideout. But I want to assure you that the law will definitely take its course.
“We will continue to rely on our security agencies to help us fish out all the hoodlums, criminals and their hideout structures in the state, once it’s identified, the state government will take proper steps of action.”
