The FCT Police Command, on Thursday, paraded three wanted car snatchers following whose arrest nine exotic vehicles were recovered.
The FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, gave the names of the suspects as
Dacid Junior Godwin, Paul Taju and Ali Shitu.
He said the suspects, who were members of a four-man gang, specialised in inter-state car theft and snatching, and that were responsible for a series of car snatching and the disappearance of several vehicles in the FCT and its environs.

He explained that the suspects came to the FCT to perpetrate their heinous acts and took the stolen vehicles to Port-Harcourt, River State, to sell.
CP Igweh said a master key and a total of nine vehicles were recovered from them, which included a Toyota Rav 4 (without registration number), a Toyota Corolla with registration number: GWA 630 AG, a Toyota Camry with registration number: ABJ 307 LK, a Lexus SUV with registration number: KRD 949 FM, and five white Hilux vans without registration numbers.
He noted that, “The three suspects confessed to the crime and they are currently assisting the police to arrest the other gang member at large.”
