Bauchi State Police Command has recovered three AK-47 riffles, one AK-49 riffle and nine empty magazines in Ningi LGA of the state.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ahmed Wakil, who disclosed this in a statement, said a suspicious polythene bag was sighted near River Chika-Chika, about 200m away from the main road along the Gida-Dubu quarters in the LGA.
Wakil explained that upon receiving the report, the operatives attached to Ningi Police Divisional Headquarters led by the DPO, cordoned the area and recovered the following assorted firearms, three AK47 riffles, one AK49 riffle and nine empty magazines.

While commending the officers, the state police commissioner, Auwal Mohammed Musa, urged the operatives to sustain the intelligence-led policing in a bid to achieve the objectives of the command.
