Police recover 3-month-old abandoned baby

Detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have recovered an abandoned three-month-old baby in the Iponri area of the state.

This is coming barely 48 hours after a day-old baby was found by a social worker along Alhaji Nasha Road in Surulere.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said on Thursday at about 11.40pm, a baby of about three months old was found abandoned in a compound at Ebute-Metta West by the owner of the house.
