Police recover 11 rustled cows, arrest suspects in Jigawa

The police in Jigawa State on Wednesday said they have recovered 11 rustled cows following a farmers-herders clash that occurred in Takazza community in Guri LGA

The Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Effiom, told reporters that following the clash 11 out of 16 cows rustled were recovered and that two suspects who went to sell the cows at the Maigatari Market were arrested.

Effiom, who said normalcy had returned to the community and more security forces deployed, assured that the police were working to ensure that the five remaining cows were also recovered.
