A team of eight police operatives on Tuesday stormed the home of the three siblings who suffocated inside a parked car at their No 8 Boluke residence, Zango-Kulende quarters Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
The tragic incident occurred over 10 days ago on February 25, 2024.
It was gathered that the police team comprising a female and two armed men arrived at the scene in a marked Hilux van at about 11.30 a.m.
The visitation was part of the ongoing investigation directed by the Inspector General of Police, to get to the root of the matter.

The investigators who arrived at the scene of the incident in a marked police Hilux van, inspected the ill-fated car and interrogated tenants and the landlady of the apartment rented by the parents of the deceased children.
The father of the deceased children, Jimoh Abdulkadir, confirmed the development in a telephone call with City & Crime on Wednesday.
According to him, “Yes, I was invited on Monday but the investigators visited to inspect the car and our house on Tuesday and interrogate the tenants and other concerned parties. They discovered that the driver-side door of the ill-fated vehicle was difficult to open from inside once closed and you know all the glasses were wind up. Now, what they are trying to establish is for how long their mother left the home.
“But they said they will get in touch with us again when there is a need”, Abdulkadir said.
