The Anambra State Police Command has reassured residents of adequate protection and security, as primary and secondary schools in the state resumed for another academic session, after a long vacation.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, gave the assurance on Friday when he visited to interact with students and teachers of various schools in the state.

Some of the schools visited include St. Patrick’s College, Awka; Igwebuike Grammar School in Awka, among others.
“We enjoin the management, parents and guardians to improve efforts in directing our children in their endeavours,” he said.
“To the students, obey the laws of the land, respect your parents and study hard to contribute to the state and the world positively. As for us, we are ready to provide security.”
