Adamawa State Police Command on Monday paraded eight “Shila” boys and 23 other suspects for various crimes such as rape, criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, culpable homicide, and domestic violence among others.
The Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, told newsmen that operatives recovered 1 Toyota Starlet car (blue), five locally made single barrel guns, eight handsets, three machetes, 1 laptop, a generator, a dagger, two live cartridges, MP3, torchlight, and hard rugs during raids on the criminals’ hideouts.

The CP reiterated that the command had recorded tremendous achievements and vowed to put in more effort in combating crime in the state. With regards to the “Shila” boys’ menace, he said the command had begun investigations to unveil their sponsors.
He called on the public not to relent in reporting domestic violence, culpable homicide, and any other related crimes to the police in the state.
