The Kwara State Police Command weekend paraded 24 criminal suspects over cases of kidnapping, cultism and armed robbery, amongst others.
Speaking during the parade, the Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, stated that the suspects, who had been terrorising some parts of the state in recent times, were arrested between May and July 2024.
The police boss revealed that items recovered from the suspects included two cut-to-size locally made axes, one battle axe, five expended cartridges, one live 9mm R&B regular ammunition and two expended ammunition.
Others include one unregistered ash-coloured Toyota Camry car, one unregistered dark green Honda Accord car, one Beretta pistol, a fabricated gun, one Bajaj motorcycle and various criminal charms.

The CP, who assured that they would be charged to court after investigation, thanked the residents for their collaboration so far and urged them to continue to help the police in an effort to rid the state of crimes.
