Police officers flee as hoodlums set Grammar School Station ablaze

Suspected arsonists have just set ablaze another police station in Lagos.

The divisional police office at the popular Grammar School Ojodu along Ogunnusi road in Ojodu LCDA was torched few minutes ago and it is still burning as of the time of filing this report.

The police officers on duty reportedly fled while the vicinity of the station has been surrounded by Mobile Police Officers.

Pedestrians trekking along the Ogunnusi road heading to Ogba, Agege,  Ikeja are being turned back.

Gunshots allegedly fired by the mobile police officers to scare away people around could be heard around the area.

Daily Trust reports that several police stations have been torched in the wake of the statewide melee that trailed the #EndSARS protests and the shooting at Lekki Toll plaza on Tuesday night.
