Katsina state police command has arrested two persons in connection to the brutal killings of two children in Yammawa Quarters of Katsina metropolis.
Briefing newsmen, the Commissioner of Police Usman Abdullahi gave the suspects as Mallam Salisu Suleiman of Yammawa qrts, Katsina and Mallam Ahmed Aminu from Bauchi state.
He said, the duo are believed to have connived and killed the children belonging to one Rabiu Suleiman of Yammawa qrts Katsina state.
‘The body of first deceased one Muhammadu Muyassiru 6yrs old was found wrapped inside leather mat in the house were one Mallam Ahmed Aminu ‘M’ of Bauchi was residing as a guest to Mallam Salisu Suleiman’ he said
However, the other deceased Muhammadu Muhulisu ‘M’ 6yrs old, went missing and his burnt corpse was later found on 12/04/2017 at about 1445hrs, at the outskate of Kofar Sauri qrts Katsina with some of his body parts cut off.
He said, Suspects have been arrested and investigation is in progress and will soon be charged to court.
