Police nab two for gang-rapping teenage girls

The Police have arrested two men identified as Tunde Akinwumi, 20 and Tunde Akinboyewa, 25, for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl and a 14-year-old in Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects, who were said to be cult members and ex convicts, were said to have locked the victims inside a house where they were raped through the night.

Police sources said the suspects were arrested following a tip-off.

The suspects were said to have been traced to a house where they reportedly gang-raped the victims.

The police arrested two suspects and rescued the victims while the other members of the cult group escaped.

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Undie Adie, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said investigation conducted by the police later revealed that the suspects were ex-convicts and criminals.

According to the CP, some items like one UTC stainless knife, one red beret cap of a cult group by name “PIECE”, mobile phone and a Jean jacket stolen from one Mr. Farouk, were recovered from the house where the incident took place.

However, the suspects are claiming that the girls were picked from a night club.
