Operatives of the FCT Police Command have arrested twin brothers who specialise in scamming customers at ATM points in Abuja.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, while parading the suspects on Thursday, gave their names as David Obike and Stanley Obike.
He said the suspects were arrested on August 27, 2024 at about 11am by police operatives at an ATM point in Wuse, Abuja.

He said, “They execute their plans by claiming to assist persons who seem new to the operation of ATMs.”

He explained that while at it, they swap their ATM cards and proceed to withdraw money from the accounts of their victims.
The CP said the suspects had during interrogation confessed to the crime and would be charged to court.
