Police nab killer of Customs Comptroller

25 year-old Mishack Osuala who is a cousin of the deceased officer from Umuochoke Amaigbo villege  in Nwangele LGA of Imo State collaborated with other three persons including one Okechukwu  Uzoma  to kill the officer  last month in Umuochoke Neangele LGA when he visited his village.
The Commissioner of Police in Imo State, Muhammed Musa Kastina,  paraded the suspect alongside  over 60 other suspects ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping, fake brewery and theft among other crimes. The commissioner said the anti-homicide squad made a breakthrough by arresting the principal suspect.
 “The police saw something questionable about his conduct and watched him, leading to his arrest when he wanted to escape”, he said.  Mishack Osuala, a bricklayer, in his confession told newsmen  that their intention was not to kill the officer but to collect money from him, blaming one of his gang members, Okechukwu Uzoma, for shooting the officer when he started dragging with them.
