A team of policemen and vigilantes have arrested a kidnapper and rescued 12 abducted victims between Yaba and Gurdi villages in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
A vigilante, who was part of the operation, said the suspect was arrested on Sunday when he came to buy foodstuff and drugs in a community and that he led security men to their camp where 12 abducted victims were rescued.

City & Crime had reported that bandits have been terrorising communities in Abaji Area Council in the past few months.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply to an SMS on the development.
