The Nasarawa State Police command says it has apprehended no fewer than three suspected cultists who had been causing sleepless nights to the residents of Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Ramhan Nansel, revealed this in an interview with Daily Trust in Lafia, the state capital on Sunday.

He stated that the suspects, led by one Timothy Ishaya, 21, had been on the wanted list of the police for terrorising and disturbing the peace of residents of the area.
“One axe, dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, two necklaces with cultic pendants and a calabash filled with criminal charms were recovered from them as exhibits,” he said.
