Police locate missing boy in Lafia

The Police Command in Nasarawa State says it has found a 9-year-old missing boy, Hassan Mallam Tsalha, in Lafia, the state capital.

This is contained in a statement signed by DSP Ramhan Nansel, Police Public Relations Officer in the state on Wednesday in Lafia.

Nansel said the boy was found wandering around 2:30am on Kwandere road in Lafia on Monday.

According to the police spokesman, the boy claimed to have hailed from Hadeija in Jigawa State.

He said all efforts to get across to the boy`s family proved abortive.

Nansel appealed to anyone with useful information that could lead to the family of the boy to visit Ombi 1 Police Division in Lafia or any nearest police station. (NAN)
