The Plateau State Police Command has vowed to arrest the killer of the 14-year-old Maryam Salisu, who was murdered Tuesday last week on the outskirts of Babale village of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The commissioner of police, Batholome Onyeka, represented by the Divisional Police Officer of Nassarawa Gwong Division, SP Musa Hassan, said this when he visited the family residence of the deceased.

Daily Trust reported on Thursday how the deceased was killed and some of her vital organs removed after she and 12 other girls went to fetch firewood for their parents.
The spokesperson of the family, Fatima Danliti, thanked the police for their concern.
Responding on behalf of the community, the acting District Head, Aminu Maisamari, appealed to the police to ensure the arrest of the criminal.
The DPO, however, cautioned residents of the area to desist from sending children to bush or farm, especially, as the 2023election was approaching.
