The police in Kwara State say they have launched a manhunt for the rescue of a Chinese who was abducted by gunmen on the premises of a construction company at Shao in Moro LGA.
According to the police command, the Chinese was abducted on Saturday by gunmen who invaded the premises of CGC Construction Company on the Shao-Oloru highway.

According to Okasanmi Ajayi, spokesman of the command, “They shot and killed Inspector Adebayo Adeforiti who was on guard duty at the company and abducted a Chinese before escaping into the bush.”
He said the Commissioner of Police, Tuesday Assayomo, had deployed the command’s tactical teams, vigilantes and hunters for possible rescue and arrest of the perpetrators.
