Confirming the incident on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said the naval officer was mobbed to death by thugs numbering about six over an altercation.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Ose Local Council Area of the state, Mr Dennis Adekunle, has condemned the attack and gruesome killing of the naval rating and assured the school authorities of the cooperation of the council and community in dousing the tension.
