The Police Command in Ebonyi State has confirmed the killing of a member of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra/ Eastern Security Network (IPOB/ESN) in the state.
The command also said it arrested a lady attached to the state’s owned vigilant group known as Ebubeagu over alleged stolen motorbikes.

The lady was rounded up at Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area while negotiating the sale of one of the stolen motorcycles, while the deceased was killed when the tactical team of the command raided one of the hideouts of the group in Oriuzor Village in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chris Anyanwu, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abakaliki and made available to Daily Trust on Sunday.
The command spokesperson said that the tactical team which carried out the operation was led by SP Jerry Maigorosom.
He stated that the team is gathering information to arrest other fleeing suspects.
