Men of the Ekiti State Police Command have killed two suspected kidnappers and arrested three others in their hideouts in the state.
The spokesman of the command, DSP Sunday Abutu, said they were gunned down on December 12 when operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) were carrying out bush combing operations around Kajola Forest Reserve in Ado-Ekiti.

Those arrested are Usman Dahiru, Kabiru Abubakar, and Hammadu Lawal, while others escaped with bullet wounds.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects, according to the command, included one AK-47 rifle, 37 live ammunition, seven expended ammunition, one Tecno phone and military camouflage.
