Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have killed two suspected kidnappers during a gun battle and rescued a couple abducted by them by Aziza Junction on the Warri-Sapele road.
Speaking with journalists in Asaba, the command’s spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, said the couple were rescued unhurt and their Lexus jeep recovered from their assailants.

He further said that one AK-47 rifle with breach number 16869, 46 rounds of 7.62 live ammunition, one pump action gun and 13 live cartridges were recovered from the suspects.
