The Ogun State Police Command has debunked rumours of clashes between the Yoruba and Hausa communities in Ogere area of the state.

A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, called the rumour “baseless and not true.”

"The state Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali has urged members of the public to disregard the rumour and go about their lawful businesses as there was no breach of peace in any part of Ogun State,” the statement said.
