The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 13 (Awka), Anambra State, Abutu Yaro, will supervise four commissioners of police who have been deployed in Rivers State for the general elections.
A statement issued on Tuesday by Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Grace Iringe, said the police commissioners deployed to the state are Yomi Olanrewaju, Samuel Musa, Lanre B. Sikiru, and Aderemi Adeoye, coordinating the state headquarters.

The statement added that the Rivers Commissioner of Police, CP Okon O. Effiong, had been redeployed for election duty in Enugu State.
The command urged residents to come out en masse to vote for candidates of their choice as adequate preparation had been made to ensure that elections were peaceful, secure, free, fair, and credible.
