The police in Delta State on Tuesday confirmed the death of a man and his girlfriend who died after attending her birthday party in Ugborikoko Community, Uvwie LGA of the state.
Daily Trust gathered that the deceased left the club, the venue of the event, on Sunday night/early hours on Monday morning and went to the lady’s shop where they put on the generating set inside before they slept off. But they were found dead before daybreak.

Confirming the incident, the state police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, on Tuesday morning while speaking on phone with Daily Trust correspondent, confirmed the death of the man and his woman friend.
Other sources said, “The man had celebrated his girlfriend’s birthday bash with her at a nightclub before their death in the early hours of Monday.
