Police clear criminals’ hideouts in Abuja

The Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Benneth Igweh, has led some senior officers of the command to clear some black spots, including criminals’ hideouts and kidnappers’ routes around Zone A and B, Apo resettlement in Abuja.

A statement by the command’s spokeswoman, Adeh Josephine, said the clearance operation was to ensure all black spots and criminal hideouts are cleared for the safety of residents of the territory.

She said the command had also perceived some of the areas around the Apo resettlement to be kidnappers’ route, which he said prompted the command to mobilize its men to also clear such areas.
