It was also gathered that the headmistress later handed over the minor to his son’s wife, Mrs Abigail Oluwarotimi, to stay with them as a maid.

It was further learnt that on January 9, 2025, Mrs Blessing, saw his son in her compound at the Idumeka quarters, in Igueben Local Government Area walking abnormally and upon interrogation, the victim explained that the head teacher later gave him to her son’s wife (Mrs Abigail), who used a hot knife from fire to inflict injuries on his private part.

He also explained that Mrs Abigail deposited some contraceptive substances on his body through laps.

The development it was gathered, however, prompted the mother to inquire from Abigail why she inflicted injuries on her son and also deposited some contraceptive substances in his private part.

In her response, Mrs Abigail alleged that the minor raped her three-year-old daughter.

She also told the minor’s mother that she deposited some contraceptive family planning in his body, which cannot be removed unless the mother paid the sum of N100,000.

Abigail said without the removal of the contraceptive, the victim would not be able to impregnate any woman in life.

It was further learnt that the minor was taken to a hospital, where about two contraceptive substances were removed, the remaining one, which the doctor said would involve surgery.

The spokesperson for the Edo State Command, CSP Moses Yamu, said the suspect heated a metal object in fire and used it to inflict burns on her house help’s laps and genitals.

He said the suspect was arrested and has confessed to the crime but blamed her action on the allegation that the boy molested her children.

According to him, the state Commissioner of Police, Umoru Ozigi, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough and discreet investigation.

He however warned the public against taking laws into their own hands and allowing the law to take its course.
