Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested an alleged serial killer, Akhere Solomon, in Benin City, suspected to be a member of the Eiye secret cult.
The Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, said the suspect was arrested during investigation on a case of murder reported by one Samuel via a petition that his brother was shot dead by hoodlums suspected to be cultists.

He added that the suspect also confessed that he participated in the recent secret cult killings in the state.
