The Osun State Police Command, on Sunday, arrested three suspected kidnappers who allegedly abducted six travellers and killed one person along Ibokun/Osogbo road in the state last week.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Wale Olokode, confirmed the arrest of the three suspected kidnappers and the successful rescue of the victims from captivity.

Olokode, who spoke through the command’s spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, said the victims would soon be reunited with their families and that the suspects would be prosecuted after investigation.
It could be called that the gunmen ambushed the travellers, killed one and took the rest into the bush.
SP Olokode gave the names of the suspects as Musa Nuhu, Basiru Aliyu and Sule Sule, saying the rescue operation was successful with support from other security outfits.
He appealed to the people to assist the police with useful information to enable them to rid the state of all criminal elements.
