Police arrest suspected fraudsters in Bauchi

Some suspected fraudsters have been arrested by the police in Bauchi State.
The police informed that detectives attached to Township Division arrested one of the suspects, Hassan Bello, who hails from Sabon-Garin, Nasarawa in Gombe State.
It said the suspect allegedly conspired with two others, went to the central market in Bauchi metropolis with a polythene bag neatly concealed in a suspicious manner.
Their presence was said to have raised suspicion and an alarm was raised by members of the public.
The suspects were pursued and one of them was caught while the other two escaped with the bag.
Police source in Bauchi informed that a discreet investigation led to the arrest of the other two suspects in Gombe State by the command strike unit.
 According to the police, the other suspects arrested in Gombewere;Iliyasu Alhassan and Sani Garba and they all hail from Fantamiin,Gombe State.
Items recovered from the suspects include; one Jeans trousers, one T-shirt, Etisalat sim pack, two Wallets and one belt.
    Further investigation also revealed that the suspects belong to a syndicate, who specializes inusing various tricks to cheat their innocent victims.
The police disclosed that the case is under investigation and the suspects will soon be charged to court.
