The police have arrested eight suspected cultists for allegedly killing one Musa Jeffaru and Kingsley Raphael in the South Ibe community and Benin City respectively.
It was gathered that six of the suspects were arrested at South Ibe, Auchi Etsako West Local Government Area, while two others were arrested at Ogida, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State.
The suspects were, Abumen Raphael, Abumen Benjamin, Aboda Young, Agidigbe Oridibumeho, Sule Ismaila, Odeh Jesse, Umukoro Believe and Odibo Prince
The Edo State Police Command, when contacted, said one Oyarvuege Shaibu reported to the police that his younger brother Musa Jeffaru was shot dead by hoodlums at South Ibe.

He said the police stormed the scene and recovered one handset and one expended cartridge, adding that while at the scene, a man called the recovered
phone and was traced to his house where the six suspects were arrested.
He said four battle axes, one green beret, white towel with the inscriptions of Maphite confraternity were recovered from them.
He said Umukoro and Prince accosted one Kingsley Raphael in the Ogida area and shot him in the chest and was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Chidi said the two suspects were arrested at the scene by the police who stormed the scene for a distress call.
He said the suspect would soon be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
