Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested a suspected notorious cultist with guns and live cartridges in Edo State.
The suspect, Isa Musa (30) was arrested on March 5 by the operatives of the Fugar Division of the command.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, said the suspect was arrested during a stop-and-search operation by the police.
He said during the operation, police intercepted and arrested the suspect while riding a motorcycle.
Chidi said during a search on the suspect, the police recovered one cut-to-size English double-barrel gun and nine rounds of live cartridges from him.

According to him, the suspect confessed to being a member of the Neo-Black Africa Movement, also known as Black Axe.
He added that the suspect confessed that he was taking the gun to Auchi in Edo State to meet his members and that the suspect and the exhibits will soon be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Benin for further investigation.
