Police detectives from Osun State Police Command have arrested seven suspected armed robbers terrorising Osogbo community.
The suspects include Lasisi Isisaka, Akintayo Adekunle, Kamoru Olofaina, Adeniyi Akeem, Basiru Soliu, Umoru Saheed and Kunle Aderibigbe.
Daily Trust gathered that one Mrs Hawa Jamiu reported to the police that her house Oluwalogbon Estate, behind Konkobilo, Ilobu road was robbed and police detective commenced investigation immediately.
Hawa told the police that that her property including a plasma Samsung television valued N70,000, one mini HP laptop valued N65,000, one HTC Phone valued N35,000 and some jewelries valued N40,000 were carted away by the robbers.
The police investigation eventually led to the arrest of the suspects and they all confessed to the crime. Majority of the suspects were ex-convicts who have just completed jail terms.
One Samsung galaxy S6 phone, several laptops, television sets, one unregistered Bajad motorcycle and other items believed to be stolen properties.
Dangerous weapons were also recovered from the suspects. The Commissioner of Police in the State, Fimihan Adeoye said the would be charged to court after investigation.
