Police operatives from the Shell Camp Division, Owerri, Imo State, have arrested a suspected armed robber, Ogochukwu Favour David, while on routine patrol on Bank Road, Owerri.
In a statement on Saturday, the spokesman of the state’s police command, Henry Okoye, said that the operatives sighted some hoodlums robbing a young woman, reacted immediately and arrested one of them, while the others escaped.

He added that a locally made pistol was recovered in the suspect’s possession while effort was on to arrest the others.
