Operatives of the Cross River State Police Command have arrested a 45-year-old woman, Peace White and her daughter, Promise White alongside a drug gang.
They were nabbed at a black spot on Dr Edem Street in the Nyahasang community in Calabar municipality on Tuesday.

Commissioner of police in the state, Sikiru Kayode Akande, who paraded them at the police headquarters also paraded two other teenagers, Godwin Anthony Nyenine, 18, and Mighty Eteng, 19.
Both were involved in the killing of one Mrs Doris of 1st Avenue State Housing Estate on April 13, 2021, the commissioner said.
Akande also said the woman and her daughter were picked up among hoodlums who gathered to ingest of hard drugs and plan their nefarious activities.
He said cocaine exhibits, seven pieces of tai-land, 7.8 SK 4, and 16 cannabis wraps were found with them.
The four were among 30 suspected criminals the commissioner paraded today.
Some items recovered from the suspects included one Nissan Sentra, Mercedes Benz E350, Prado Land Cruiser, locally made guns, and 42 inches television among others.
