A man in Bauchi State has been arrested for shooting his wife to death.
Nuhu Umar Usman (40) allegedly shot his second wife, Ladi Nuhu (37), dead at Dangarfa village in Ningi LGA.
Police spokesman in the state, Ahmed Wakil, said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect slept in the same room with his victim-wife that night, adding that the suspect had two wives and six children.

In related development, the police arrested a woman, Amina Guguwa (50), for killing her co-wife, Amina Koli (60), at Miya village in Ganjuwa LGA by strangling her on January 1.
