A suspect, Banbangida Noma, has been arrested by the police in Kwara State for allegedly killing his 70-year-old younger brother.
The deceased, identified as Seriki Noma, was allegedly ‘brutalised to death’, by the eldest Nona alongside his brother, Umar Babangida now at large.
Sources said the deceased had visited Babangida around 2 pm only for his corpse to be brought to the family with bruises about six hours after.
The police spokeswoman of the state command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi (DSP), confirmed the incident Wednesday City & Crime.

She said the incident happened on January 10, 2024 and the deceased had since been buried.
“Before the burial, there were signs of violence on the body and based on information, a team of detectives later visited the scene where Banbangida was arrested.
“The case has been transferred to state CID for discreet investigation,” Toun added.
