Police arrest INEC staff with ballot papers in Niger

 

Police have arrested an INEC adhoc staff in possession of thumb printed ballot papers in Rajau Local Government Area of Niger State.

The suspect whose name was given as Ibrahim Tanko is the INEC supervising officer in the area.

It was gathered that the suspect was apprehended while attempting to hide the ballot paper in his car. Spokesperson of INEC in the state, Mohammed Madaki, confirmed the incident, saying investigation into the matter has commenced.
